Dr.
(Spencer) Stentz Huebner, nationally known for her expertise in adult learning in the police training field, has designed and facilitated state mandated law enforcement train-the-trainer programs, is co-creator of the Purposeful Field Training Program, and the co-designer of five recruit academies based in an interactive, field performance base training approach. She has created a problem-based school resource officer program with the state of Illinois and designed domestic violence training for police officers with the Colorado Program for Victim Assistance. Her most recent publication is a chapter entitled, “Developing Police Training to Support Community Policing,” in Policing and Training Issues, by Michael J. J. Palmiotto and M. L. Dantzker, Prentice Hall, July 2002.
